The Minister for Transport, Meegan Fitzharris, will officially open the new eastbound carriageway of the Cotter Road at noon on Monday 14 May. It will be a short ceremony in the driveway of Equestrian Park attended by a small crowd of public officials and journalists. If you usually bring your horse to the Park at lunch time on a Monday please be prepared to find the entrance a little crowded. Vehicles will be asked to park on one side of the Woolshed Road so there should be room for anyone with a horse float to get through. Everyone should be gone by 1pm.
