The ACT Government will be undertaking a Thermal Assisted Aerial Control (TAAC) program to remove vertebrate pest species from key conservation areas, water catchments and peri urban areas from Monday 13 May to Tuesday 11 June 2024.
To ensure this work can be undertaken safely, Namadgi National Park, several reserves and some adjacent forestry land will be closed under he Nature Conservation Act 2014 and Trespass on Territory Lands ACT 1932. Closures will be staged during the operational period so not all areas are closed at the same time.

Closures will affect National Trail Section 11 maps 2 3 4 and 5 from Kambah Tuggeranong Creek below Tuggeranong Dam through to the Southern ACT border. This spreadsheet contains dates for various areas.
