Although there has been a start on the new bridle trail in the Zoo Pines it has all come to a halt because the main worker has been deployed to Canada to fight forest fires. Marty Bennett has marked out the bridle trail and made a good start on high pruning around mountain bike track crossings with the roads. This will mean a delay of up to 6 weeks as there are no spare staff to continue work.
One thing that has happened is the opening of a rideable mown path (no blackberries) behind the kangaroo fence that will link the north and south end of the Zoo Pines.
