Due to the ongoing development of the Ginninderry estate there are changes to the route of the BNT between Parkwood Road and Stockdill Drive in two stages FROM TODAY. These will mostly affect riders from the Belconnen Pony Club, Parkwood Paddocks and Pine Ridge but there are others who use this stretch of the BNT apart from long distance travellers. The aim is to get horses away from the expanding construction zones. The attached maps of the two stages of the route change, provided by the project contractor, are pretty clear. We have been promised that all changes will be clearly sign posted but if there is any confusion please let the BNT coordinator know asap.
Due to proposed works on a new electricity transmission line in the area there may be further changes in 2019 but they will be advised as they arise.
